The FIFA 18 Ultimate Team World Cup mode has made created super squads a lot easier and cheaper by not having any card rarity or player markets. Packs are pretty generous, we even bagged Icon Ronaldo in one of the first packs we opened.
Despite that, your team could still maybe do with some upgrades and that's what Squad Builder Challenges are perfect for. The nature of the mode means you end up with a lot of useless and duplicate players - fortunately you can scrap them for a chance at better cards.
EA Sports have confirmed that from tonight (June 6) at 6pm BST, FIFA 18 will begin to receive brand new SBCs for the World Cup mode every two days.
The World Cup already has a few SBCs, one for every confederation and a rather nice one which guarantees you an Icon card.
With the amount of packs you open on the mode you're guarenteed to have a lot of spare players but it isn't worth discarding them as the World Cup mode gives you little to no coins.
Instead, save them to your duplicate storage and they may become useful in the upcoming SBCs.
No details of the new challenges have been announced so far but EA Sports' Community Manager, Corey Andress, called them 'Nation SBCs', suggesting that you will have to scrap a certain number of players who all come from the same country.
Rewards could range from specific players, perhaps that nation's highest rated card, a large amount of coins or packs containing players from specific regions or confederations.
Either way, it's a great chance to improve your squad and keep yourself busy before the World Cup officially kicks off.
